You can use the wildcard asterisk character to specify several files having common characters in their name.

Example:

   *.pep

You can also create a file of filenames, and give the name of the namelist to the pileup program. If you name a list of names rather than sequence files, then you must precede the name of the namelist with an @ symbol.
